You can finally farm some of the best mounts in World of Warcraft solo. This can also be done within a few minutes per week.
Special mounts have their own charm in World of Warcraft. It is precisely the rarest of them that have the greatest appeal. But some of the prettiest mounts are difficult to farm. You often need a group in order to even be able to face the corresponding bosses.
For some bosses, Blizzard has now made it drastically easier for you to farm them.
Which bosses are affected? Three of the major raid bosses from Battle for Azeroth have been changed. These are:
All of these bosses had one or more mechanics that inevitably lead to death at some point and are very difficult or impossible to overcome single-handedly. Jaina froze all the characters and then killed them, and N’Zoth gradually drove the heroes insane. This no longer happens when you face these bosses alone.
A few of the changes came with the release of patch 10.2.7, others were added by Blizzard as part of a hotfix.
All bosses that lead to the final bosses can now be mastered alone.
Which mounts drop from the bosses? Two of the most sought-after mounts are Jaina and N’Zoth, but only on Mythic difficulty – and only with a very low drop chance, around 1%.
Aside from the mounts, kills on Mythic difficulty also bring other rewards, such as titles or achievements – and sometimes some nice drops that should be well suited for the next transmog set.
If you are not interested in these raid mounts, there are also many great mounts in the current Dragonflight expansion, which you can also get hold of quite easily.
So if you’re bored in WoW, you can venture into the old raids – maybe you’ll find one or two interesting rewards there.
