Claims that Apple was working on satellite communication technology first appeared before the iPhone 13 family was announced. It was said that Apple will integrate the satellite communication feature into the phones, so that communication can be made via satellite in cases where the phones do not receive. However, such a feature has not been added to the iPhone 13 family. Now, the eyes are turned to the iPhone 14 models.

Sources claim that Apple is still working on satellite communications for the iPhone. While it’s unclear whether the technology will be ready for this year’s iPhone, the company is allegedly testing prototypes that can send text messages via satellite and eliminate the need for cellular connectivity. It is also reported that the system is known by the code name “Stewie”.
If the claims are true, all or some models of the iPhone 14 family may offer satellite communication in cases where the network is not available or insufficient. So users can communicate with the satellite. However, these are not yet Apple-confirmed information.
WHEN WILL THE iPHONE 14 BE INTRODUCED?
The iPhone 14 family is expected to be introduced this fall. The iPhone 14 family is expected to include the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro Max models.
