Yet another objection to event at Soestdijk Palace: ‘This is not the agreement’

Yet another objection to event at Soestdijk Palace This is

Palace Soestdijk

The zoning plan for the Paleis Soestdijk estate has been the subject of intensive discussion for many years. After the city council adopted it early last year, it is still the subject of a legal conflict between the municipality of Baarn and eleven parties who have objected. Among them are also local residents and the Behoud de Eemvallei foundation. The Council of State has been considering it for more than a year and has since announced that a ruling cannot be expected before October.

Soestdijk Palace has been owned by the MeyerBergman Heritage Group since the end of 2017. The company Classics at the Palace, which organizes Wheels at the Palace, rents the site and arranges the application for the necessary permits. When writing this article, RTV Utrecht contacted the organization in Eemnes. Classics at the Palace has not yet responded to this.
