STATEMENT FROM THE COMPANY

In the statement made by the company, it was stated that the incident was noticed thanks to e-mails sent by customers on May 5 and 7. Following the development, it was announced that a total of 104 thousand packages of bread with expiration dates between 7-11 May were collected from the market. The statement said, “We apologize to all our customers, business partners and relevant persons and organizations for the inconvenience caused. We will do our best to ensure that this situation never happens again and we will further improve our quality-control procedures.”

PRODUCTION WAS TEMPORARILY SUSPENDED

While it was emphasized that no health problem related to the incident had been encountered yet, it was stated that production was temporarily suspended in the Tokyo factory where the breads subject to the complaint were produced and a detailed investigation was initiated.
