That sounds like Yellowstone will actually end after season 5. Co-star Kelly Reilly commented on the post no less emotionally:
I loved our scenes this year more than I can say… you are just the greatest actress and the most amazing person Jen. Now get the horse and come to me.
Is Yellowstone (apart from the spin-off series) really over? There are various explanations for Landon’s words. Perhaps the 6th season is not yet a done deal and new contracts have not yet been drawn upIt is also possible that this is the last season for Landon only, as her character will be eliminated after this.
