“The stairs themselves are in order, as are the wall anchors with which the site stairs are attached to the wall. However, there are cracks in the site wall where the stairs are attached to the wall. Water is also leaking through the wall and the wall is saturated with water in some places. For this reason, the stairs are now closed to the public as a precaution,” the municipality reports. The damage was observed by the master builder of Utrecht.
