Flautist and singer Yann Cléry returns with ” Yann Solo “, a mixed record that combines the sounds of jazz, soul, rap and funk with those of his Guyanese, African and Caribbean roots. A hybrid album with a completely Afro-punk energy.

Yann Cléry defines himself as a chameleon artist, this reptile which does not crawl, but which walks, runs, climbs, suddenly stops. An animal capable of changing rhythm, capable also of picking up the colors of its environment, of capturing and digesting everything that interests it, the sounds and music of its Guyanese roots or of the Caribbean and African branches, of those that are mixed and still mixed with jazz, blues and even other genres.

With her grooving voice and her magic flute, Yann Clery has collaborated with soul, jazz, rap, funk, electro or reggae artists. He comes to introduce us Yann Solo », his new project, available at Why Compagnie.
