Electric mountain bike Yamaha MORO 07 is getting ready to bring the brand together with a new user base after the motorcycle.
Yamaha, which is preparing to bring important new models to the Turkish market in 2023, has recently detailed this list. In the second half of this year, the brand, which is preparing to offer models that meet different expectations such as Tenere World Raid, XMAX 250 and Tracer 900 GT Plus, has two important surprises for 2023. The second surprise of the Japanese manufacturer, which is preparing to attract a new user base with Neo’s, an electric scooter equivalent to the 50cc category, will be an electric mountain bike. Yamaha MORO 07, which has been on sale in the European market for a while, will be presented to users in Turkey this year.

MORO 07, which is an electric mountain bike weighing 24.3 kilograms by combining all its parts, is an important model developed with Yamaha touches. When we look at the components of the bike, which was developed on the Japanese manufacturer’s patented double frame architecture, we see that high-end materials are included. In MORO 07, whose electric support is based on the pedal assist philosophy, this support is provided up to 25 km/h, as in other models of this type. The electrical support of the bike bears traces of Yamaha’s own engineering.
The model, in which the new generation PW-X3 engine is placed, has a more compact and powerful unit compared to the X2. The PW-X3 engine, which offers 250W power and up to 85 Nm support to users, is supported by a 500Wh capacity battery on the basis of Yamaha’s lithium-ion basis. The automatic support mode that comes with this engine can also provide users with optimal power support according to ground and slope conditions. With all these parts, it is possible to say that there is a range support of about 50 kilometers. On the gear system side, we see that Shimano’s high-end groupset set XT is included. This system, which is in the 1×12 arrangement, is combined with the Alba crankset, which we see in both mountain bikes and Gravel models. RockShox LYRIK SELECT series is also among the premium equipment choices in MORO 07, where the integrated rear suspension system is presented. The braking system is entrusted to Magura MT5. The bike, which comes with a set of 27.5 wheels as standard, is priced at £4,749 in the UK.
