Xur is sneaking up on Destiny 2 players again today. With him comes his suitcase full of eerie exo secrets. In doing so, he offers the brave and curious the opportunity to delve into the dark abyss of the exotic unknown and also shop with him on Halloween. What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Earlier this week, Destiny 2’s game director made good on his promise to the community.
From now on he wants to seek direct contact with the players more often. He may not be the best player in the loot shooter, but that doesn’t matter. The community had some good tips for him. In return, he revealed a few secrets and upcoming details about the new DLC The Finale Form.
This week’s midseason update didn’t just bring weapon, armor and ability changes. There was also an involuntary preview of upcoming exo changes that were supposed to remain secret.
A bit strange this week was a new glitch in which players in Destiny 2 can now stop the time in the game or objects completely. These include, for example, the treadmills in Gambit, the fake alliance arena at the Neomuna destination or spawn doors from which tons of enemies would otherwise storm out.
That was already dark. But things got even darker with the Halloween event. The free event brought spooky outfits, a black leather shader for weapons, and lots of candy into the game. While the event remained pretty much the same, one change still scored points. This year’s Halloween activities will be narrated by Immaru, Savathun’s ghost, and he’ll give you meatballs a run for their money.

When is Xur coming? Xur visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 7:00 p.m. His visit ends the following Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. During this time his shop is open and all Guardians from near and far can buy exotic items from him.

This endgame challenge featuring the 14th Saint features intense 3v3 battles where only the most daring and skilled can claim the Master Rewards and Trials Cosmetics on the Lighthouse.

This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you will receive as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. You can also get the weapon until next Tuesday, October 24th at 7:00 p.m.
There is always an Adept weapon as a reward if you make it to the lighthouse safely with your ticket.
