Xur today – location and offer on 28.04

Every Friday, Xur comes to Destiny 2 and offers Exotic gear to the Guardians. You can find out where Xur is this week and what exotic items he has on offer here.

Also this weekend, a mysterious merchant named Xur appears in Destiny 2 to offer players exotic gear and weapons. MeinMMO will provide you with all information about Xur.

But before that, we’ll tell you what happened this week in Destiny 2 in our weekly recap.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? There was a lot of frustration in the community this week as Destiny 2 is currently slow to get rid of its shortcomings, which is depressing the mood of the players.

So “Destiny 3” was trending again on Twitter and some wished that Destiny 2 would run on Unreal Engine 5 and not on Bungie’s 11-year-old Tiger engine.

Recently, information was even revealed that might make this wish come true with the Unreal Engine – albeit not for Destiny 2.

The German Destiny 2 community had to say goodbye to AndyEdition this week. For years, its content has brought players closer to the complex story of Destiny. But his path is now coming to an end with Lightfall. You can find out why in this MeinMMO article:

In addition to selling legendary items, each week Xur offers unique variations of exotic items that were available in past DLCs and are now unavailable. However, it should be noted that these weapons can only be acquired by players who also own the appropriate expansion.

He currently has these two weapons on offer:

  • The Falcon Moon Exotic Hand Cannon (Beyond Light DLC) with First Shot
  • The Tale of a Dead Exotic Scout Rifle (Beyond Light DLC) with Vorpal Weapon
  • No PvP endgame, but iron banner with “Fortress”

Destiny 2 is hosting the final Iron Banner with the Stronghold mode this week. The community’s opinion on the PvP mode in Destiny 2 is still divided.

  • Some players appreciate the challenge and the opportunity to work together as a team.
  • Other guardians criticize the repetitive character of the mode and that everything is usually decided after the first phase.
  • Destiny 2 talks about the future of PvP – Brings true ranked system and new matchmaking

You can still play the mode in Iron Banner and make up your own mind about Stronghold until Tuesday, May 2nd.

While the community’s opinions are divided about the Fortress mode in Destiny 2, there are other activities like the Leader Dawns or the Guardian Games 2023 that Guardians can enjoy. However, the question remains as to whether and how Destiny 2 developers would need to improve the mode to appeal to more players.

What do you think about the Fortress mode in Destiny 2? What improvements would you like to see? Leave us your thoughts and opinions in the comments.
