Xur today – location and offer on 26.05

Exo trader Xur is making his usual visit to Destiny 2 again on the dungeon weekend in Season 21. You need exos? He has her. MeinMMO shows you its current offer and reveals its location.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? A lot. The new Season 21 has started and has taken the guardians into the underwater world of Titan. There you can immerse yourself in missions, collect corals or just relax with a round of fishing.

A few days later, players were briefed on the development of Bungie’s first shooter in 10 years. It’s going to be called Marathon, and with that Bungie is going back to where it started.

And arguably the best news of the week was the return of a well-known Destinys 2 gunslinger whose face Guardians last saw while watching his dying breath.

Also, a new dungeon called Spirits of the Deep starts today, of which this trailer gives a watery foretaste.

Dungeon start and the first Trials of Osiris

The choice is yours this weekend: dungeon, trials or both?

Trials will likely come a little behind the new Spirits of the Deep dungeon this week, as most Guardians want to discover this new PvE endgame activity right away this Friday.

For those who don’t feel like it or don’t buy the dungeon key, they can go to the trials as usual and prove their PvP skills there to get the new rewards.

  • Both the new dungeon and Trials of Osiris start tonight at 7:00 p.m
  • Which map is it this week? Unlike normal PvP, where the maps rotate, the Guardian vs. Guardian endgame only has one set map to play on each weekend.

This week you play on the map: Endless Valley

This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, March 30th at 7:00 p.m.

This week’s adept weapon is: The Unflinching Duty machine gun

The Unflinching Duty MG is available this week as an Adept

Focus on what you want: With the focusing system, players can now focus on old armor and weapons that they want or are missing.

You can focus the test engrams you have earned on the 14th saint specifically on your desired weapon. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.

When do the trials officially start? Trials of Osiris begins today, May 26, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. and ends with the weekly reset, May 30, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.

These Trials changes await you in Season 21:

Trials with new main game mode “Territory”: The new mode is more team-oriented and will be activated as the main game mode for Trials from Season 21 onwards. This switch will make the carry from teammates to the Lighthouse more difficult, as it places a lot of emphasis on solid teamwork.

Territory mode allows players to conquer zones to earn points, just like in Control.

In addition, from Season 21 you have to prove yourself a lot more if you want to gild the title “Flawless”. With this, Bungie wants to bring a certain level of core competence into the game that should show that the player in question has hard earned the title “Pristine Gilding”.

There is a new badge for this, which can be obtained by opening the Pristine chest at the lighthouse and not having suffered a setback in any of the previous victories. That is, for each victory you need to get the “Flight of the Pigeon” medal. This should be a big challenge.

These new and old Trials rewards are waiting for you in Season 21:

  • A Trials glaive called Unexpected Return comes into play for the first time. It is an adaptive arc glaive that can be earned over the weekend of June 9th.
  • The Messenger, the well-known high-power Kinetic Pulse Rifle, is making a return for the weekend of June 16th.
  • Season 21 features new and old rewards in the Trials

The following weapons will be removed from the standard loot pool in Season 21, but the non-master versions will be available via the Saint-14 Legacy Focus:

  • “The Inquisitor” – Shotgun
  • “Whistler’s Mood” – bow
  • To decorate you, these new cosmetics can be hunted down in Season 21 and underline your status as an experienced PvP player:

  • Exotic ghost shell named Trace of a Hero
  • Exotic ship named “Pardent Memory”
  • Exotic Sparrow “Journey of the Survivors”
  • A new shader called Resplendent Patina when you first open the Lighthouse Bounty Chest in Season 21.
  • A bug and a new mode: Solo players in particular have rarely been able to shine in trials. Bungie has now confirmed that there was indeed an issue with the lobby balancer, which meant that high skill solo players often felt that the matches against them were being played against them.

A solution has now been implemented for Season 21 that overrides the abilities of everyone in the challenger pool with the same stat, effectively making lobby balancing random for those seeking flawlessness.

Also, because this eliminates pass-based matchmaking, you don’t need to reset your map if you want to help a friend get to the lighthouse after you’ve already been there. The number of wins on the map no longer affects the difficulty of matches.

How will your choice be? Dungeon or Trials? Tell us in the comments.

If you decide to play the dungeon, this ugly but really good Exo might be worth a closer look:
