It’s Friday again and that means another visit from the mysterious but cool black market trader Xur in Destiny 2. He’s worth a visit, so first we’ll reveal what you might be missing out on this week and where to find Xur.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Destiny 2 has opened the solstice event 2022 for the Weekly Reset. Players can finally earn the new glow armor and tackle the event pass with its challenges. We have created guides for you on armor and its glow, as well as effective farming of silver branches.
Players also made a surprising discovery at the event. The event’s new origin perk now also overloads your other equipped weapons on kills. This is not only crass, but also looks unintentional.
Last but not least, Bungie announced a big showcase this week. In it, the developer will reveal the first details about Lightfall and show what the guardians can expect in spring 2023. When is Xur coming? The most famous retailer from Destiny 2 is currently starting its sale every Friday at 7:00 p.m. sharp. Anyone who brings him some Legendary Shards and other materials to trade is welcome to choose from him.

What does Xur offer? For all Guardians who don’t know Xur yet: He is an Exotic dealer of the “Nine”, an ominous group in Destiny 2, and delivers new weapons and armor to the players on their behalf on a weekly basis. All characters, i.e. warlocks, hunters and titans can buy from him.

Xur also sells Legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotics from past DLC exotic missions that are no longer available.

The weapons cost: For these two exotics, the cost is 1 Ascendant shard, 1 Exotic code, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary shards.

Trials of Osiris on 07/22 – 26.07. – Map, weapons and info
Which map is it this week? Each weekend you only play on a fixed map. This time it’s the turn of the Far Beach on Nessus.
If you are interested in playing the Trials as a team, MeinMMO recommends the callout maps via Warmind. This gives your fireteam a good description of where the opponents are on the map, which is useful information for the whole team.

This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. This time you get the sniper “Eye of Sol” on Adept. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday at 7:00 p.m.
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: Haste – Improves reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you’re the last member of your fireteam alive or fighting alone.
Once you have obtained your desired weapon, you can target your testing engrams at Saint-14 specifically to your desired weapon. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.
When do the trials start? The trials (tests of Osiris) start this Friday for the daily reset at 7:00 p.m.
