Xur has set out to deliver his Exotic offerings to Destiny 2 players. It doesn’t bother him that some people hate him, because his task is determined by nine higher powers and is anything but useless. MeinMMO shows you what he has with him.
What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Destiny 2 has its sights firmly set on the launch date of the Lightfall DLC next February. The developer is already announcing far-reaching changes that have made a really good impression on many players so far.
In addition to the positive changes, a few nerfs are inevitable. The game balance should be right for Lightfall. You don’t want the new ‘Strangle’ ability to live up to its name and go overboard or have dominant exos be too annoying. Therefore, Bungie announced the following planned changes:
In the latest preview trailer for Lightfall, there was a first look at the city of “Neomuna”:

What are the trials in Destiny 2?
The Trials of Osiris is an endgame PvP activity and it takes place every weekend. There is only one exception and that is when the Iron Banner event is active. Like last week. So this weekend, Bungie will be re-stocking the Saint-14 inventory with fresh Trials Passes and bounties so you can build your glory in the PvP endgame.
Which map is it this week? Unlike normal PvP, where the maps rotate, the Guardian vs. Guardian endgame only has one set map to play on each weekend.
This week’s card is: Wormport
How to get your loot: The Trials of Osiris feature a reputation ranking system. Your top loot reward from PvP matches is currently for:
This is the reward for a flawless run: Every week, a very special weapon awaits you on the lighthouse, which you get as a master version for your flawless run, i.e. 7 victories. You can earn the weapon until next Tuesday, January 24th at 18:00.
As a reward, there is always an adept weapon waiting for you if you made it safely into the lighthouse.
This week’s adept weapon is: Burden of Guilt, Stasis Fusion Rifle
All Trials weapons have a Trials origin perk: Haste – Improves reload, stability, aim assist, and range when you’re the last member of your fireteam alive or fighting alone.
You can focus your testing engrams on your desired weapon at the 14th saint. On top there are Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Fragments. Keep in mind that once you have a complete pass, your reward increases even more – even if you lose a game or two.
When do the trials officially start? The Trials of Osiris begins today, January 20, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. and ends with the Weekly Reset, January 24, 2023 at 6:00 p.m.
