Xur today – location and offer on 06.01.

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Today, Xur, Destiny 2’s tentacle-faced Exo vendor, returns. He brings you old exotics that you might still be missing that you could buy with in-game currency. Since it changes its location and what it offers every week, we can reliably tell you where to find it.

What happened in Destiny 2 this week? Recently, a message went through the community that outraged many. Bungie is planning a subscription model to ask its players to pay in the future. For many, this is a reason to once again forgo their trust in the developer. But now it came out: Everything is just fake! All the excitement only caused more resentment, so the author of the leak has now apologized.

Incidentally, Lord Saladin resides for the first time in Season 19 with his Iron Banner on the tower. You can test the PvP zone control mode “Fortress” with him. However, this has not been well received by every guardian so far. You like to have Cabal capsules fall on your head and the zones are often sealed off by Void Titans with bubbles. However, there are also Guardians who see it as a welcome PvP change. Others, on the other hand, just want to get hold of the new, particularly cool shader with a rarity value.

In PvE, a new Season 19 machine gun is currently making a name for itself. Not only does it fire fast, but it also unleashes a ton of explosions that few bosses can sustain. We say: Definitely try it out and have recommended a good roll for crafting the weapon.

Season 19, which the trailer introduces to you, is currently cutting a better figure in terms of seasonal content. In addition to various search missions and iconic space walks, the story also offers more interesting content and twists that can still captivate the players at the moment. Like this cute little guy.

All information about Xur on January 06, 2023 – PS4, PS5, PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Google Stadia

When is Xur coming? The Exotic Vendor visits Destiny 2 every Friday at 6 p.m. Everyone who still has gaps in their Exo collection expects it then, because it is the easiest way to get Exos. It only costs you a one-way flight and some material as a means of payment.

Where is Xur located? This is his camp for the weekend

The position of Xur: Even if Xur only actively uses a few location positions, no keeper knows before 6 p.m. where he will land.

The routes of Xur are mysterious. But we tracked him down. Xur is on Nessus this weekend, in the Guardian’s Tomb landing zone. The location is marked on the map.

Xur also sells legendary items and each week offers unique rolls for exotics from obsolete exotic missions from past DLCs. Note, however: You can only buy the weapons if you also have the appropriate extension.

He currently has these two weapons on offer:

  • The Falcon Moon exotic handgun (Beyond Light DLC) with the Surplus perk
  • The Tale of a Dead Exotic Scout Rifle (Beyond Light DLC) with the Moving Target perk
  • If you want Xur’s exo-weapons from old DLCs, you have to own them.

The weapons cost: These two Exotics cost 1 Ascendant Fragment, 1 Exotic Code, 125,000 Glimmer, and 200 Legendary Fragments respectively.

Xur always has this with him: You can always get an Exotic Engram for 97 Legendary Shards from Xur, as well as the weekly quest to get an Exotic Code.

Iron Wolves now defend zones in Iron Banner

There will be no trials this weekend due to the Iron Banner event being active. So since Tuesday, 6 p.m., the sublime Iron Lord Saladin has come to the tower. It not only offers the PvP mode “Fortress”. In Season 19 you also have a chance to get the Seal of the Iron Lord, a new or old armor set from 2015, as well as two new weapons and top gear.

However, some just log in to hunt down the “new best shader” in the game. It’s called “Iron Counter Shade” and is quite special and unique.

This is what the Iron Counter Shader looks like on all 3 chars.

What is the look of the Iron Banner shader? The Iron Countershade shader transforms your Warden’s attire into a unique rusty chain mail pattern.

If you want him, however, you’ll have to go through almost two full resets on Saladin. However, it’s not too late for that – the first Iron Banner in Season 19 runs until January 10th at 6 p.m. And later on, there’s another week to level up to the required reputation rank.

All Iron Banner weapons have a root perk: Sneaking Wolf grants improved radar on low health and kills from this weapon against Guardians, removing you from enemy radar.

When does Iron Banner officially end? Lord Saladin’s PvP activities will end with the Weekly Reset on January 10th at 18:00. This is also the departure date from Xur.

Have you already warmed up to the new Iron Banner mode? Then feel free to tell us in the comments how you find it or whether you would rather like Rift from Season 17 or Eruption from Season 18 back?
