Xiaomi likes to push the limits by offering the best of technology at the best price. The Chinese manufacturer, which has built its reputation on the excellent quality-price ratio of its products, continues to expand its catalog with devices covering a wide variety of needs, to satisfy all audiences. This is particularly the case for smartphones, an area where the brand has distinguished itself since its creation, to the point of becoming one of the giants in the sector with meteoric growth in recent years and models that are now real references. And it’s not over !
So, after the critically acclaimed Xiaomi 12, the manufacturer is now presenting two new smartphones with enticing features, the 12T and the 12T Pro. Main advantage of these models: their wide-angle lens with a 108 Megapixel (Mpx) photo sensor on the 12T and 200 Mpx on the 12T Pro, exceptional definitions that allow you to obtain shots of unprecedented precision, including including in difficult lighting conditions – at night or in the dark – but also to shoot video in full frame 8K. Particularly sophisticated, these modules – which are completed by secondary sensors – are associated with high quality optics and an optical stabilization system. They take advantage of several exclusive technologies based on artificial intelligence that promise spectacular results, such as the Xiaomi ProFocus, a continuous focus that follows moving subjects to eliminate blur even in fast-moving scenes. Or the Xiaomi ProCut, which intelligently and automatically crops large images to extract very high quality extracts by isolating several subjects in a single image so as to create a patchwork in formats suitable for social networks. As for the Ultra Clear 50 mm mode, it guarantees portraits worthy of professional photographers.
Xiaomi has obviously not neglected the other aspects of its new smartphones, and the 12T and 12T Pro have high-end technical characteristics. They use the latest generation processors – a MediaTek Dimensity 8100 Ultra in 5 nm on the 12T and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 in 4 nm on the 12T Pro, the most powerful processor at the moment – associated with a very comfortable memory – 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage – allowing them to achieve peak performance, including in demanding applications such as video games. Both models benefit from a superb 6.67-inch CrystalRes screen with AMOLED technology offering a definition of 2712 x 1220 pixels and a very high resolution of 446 points per inch, to display images of incredible finesse, with a rate maximum refresh rate of 120 Hz, for incomparable fluidity. They also have a large capacity battery – 5,000 mAh – which guarantees them excellent autonomy, while benefiting from ultra-fast charging at 120 W with the Xiaomi Smart HyperCharge system. The assurance of never breaking down! The sound has not been forgotten since it has been entrusted to a pair of stereo speakers signed Harman Kardon!
Of course, the Xiaomi 12T and 12T Pro are 5G compatible, which allows them to reach very high speeds with mobile Internet. Likewise, they support Wi-Fi 6, the latest standard, which also gives them excellent wireless LAN connectivity. Finally, they are powered by MIUI 13, the new version of the Xiaomi system which is based on Android 12, to take advantage of the most recent software refinements.
Best of all, as always with Xiaomi, these dream products are not out of reach. For their launch, these new smartphones are offered at particularly attractive prices: €649 for the Xiaomi 12T and €799 for the 12T Pro, in the 8 GB RAM – 256 GB storage version.
