These phones are not new though – they were launched by Xiaomi in October 2021 in China. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ and Redmi Note 11 Pro were renamed.
Xiaomi 11i devices (sold as Mi 11X in India Mi 11i not to be confused with) Dimensity 920 It has chipset. The platform is accompanied by 128GB of storage and 6/8GB of RAM, which can be expanded up to 1TB with a micro SD card.
Xiaomi 11i and Xiaomi 11i HyperChargeIt features a 120Hz refresh rate, 1080p resolution on the front and a 6.67” Super AMOLED display with a Gorilla Glass 5 on the top. There is a single hole in the screen for the 16 MP selfie camera.
Speaking of cameras, despite the large rectangle, there are only three cameras on the back – 108 MP main + 8 MP ultra wide angle + 2 MP telephoto macro. The fourth hole is for LED flash and the fifth hole is for symmetry – it has no practical use.
The difference between the two phones is in the battery department – regular model 5.160mAh when you have the cell, HyperCharge 120W fast charging capacity to make room for the internal design that comes with 4.500mAhHad to drop it.
Other features include the MIUI 12.5 interface built on Android 11, a steam room for cooling, and a fingerprint scanner on the side despite the OLED panel. The good news for anyone considering a purchase is that Xiaomi is selling the appropriate charger – the 67W adapter with the 11i, the 120W with the 11i HyperCharge.
Xiaomi 11i, will be on sale with different price structures depending on whether the customer wants 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM. The 11i HyperCharge is expected to be slightly more expensive. If existing Redmi Note users consider swapping their old phones, there will be some discount for it as well.
Sales will begin on January 12. Xiaomi will offer both phones in four colors – Pacific Pearl, Stealth Black, Camo Green, and Purple Mist, and all can be purchased from Mi stores, Flipkart.com, and “authorized retail partners.”
