Arrived very recently on the market, the Chinese manufacturer best known for its smartphones and its multiple electronic devices (watches, connected bracelets, Wi-Fi routers and repeaters, vacuum cleaners, etc.) seems indeed determined to make a real place for itself on this market. market dominated by well-established giants such as LG, Samsung, Sony, Panasonic, Philips, TCL and other Hisense. And if its first models had seduced more by their price than by their image quality, the manufacturer has made clear progress since its beginnings to put itself at the level of the competition by also endeavoring to distinguish itself in the field of functions. . Evidenced by its brand new series of connected televisions, called Xiaomi TV F2, which integrates a Fire TV module from Amazon: a first in France.

The result of a collaboration with the e-commerce giant, the integration of Fire TV makes it possible to benefit from the Amazon ecosystem directly in the television. For the rest, these models offer similar characteristics to those of many current televisions: 4K Ultra HD screen (3,840 x 2,160 pixels, metal frame with ultra-thin edges, HDR10 and HLG compatibility for the image, and 2×12 stereo audio watts compatible with DTS Virtual X, Dolby Audio and DTS-HD. Classic which should give good results, even if Xiaomi does not specify the type of panel used – probably IPS. Small appreciable detail, the HDMI 2.1 compatibility which allows to connect compatible devices, and in particular the latest generation game consoles, especially since the Xiaomi TV F2 also benefit from the ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) function, which significantly reduces latency by automatically switching to a special mode. The only regret for gamers and sports enthusiasts is the maximum refresh rate of only 60 Hz: quite sufficient for television and cinema, but too low for other uses.
