Xiaomi is preparing to please its fans by introducing the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which is expected to be introduced worldwide for the first time on February 25. While the exact lineup of the launch event remains a secret, it is not yet known whether all three Xiaomi 14 models will be included.
Xiaomi 14 Ultra comes in titanium version
According to leaker Abhishek Yadav, Xiaomi 14 Ultra is being launched in a special titanium version. Thanks to industry sources, 91Mobiles also supports that Xiaomi is preparing a special version with titanium frame. Having a special edition suggests that the standard versions of the phone will stick to the aluminum frame to keep prices reasonable. Considering that titanium is more expensive than aluminum, the titanium variant comes with a higher price tag. For example, the 16GB+1TB version might cost around ¥7299 (about $1014).
Xiaomi 14 Ultra is expected to offer configurations with 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 16GB + 512GB and 16GB + 1TB options. Xiaomi has previously made titanium-specific versions, like the Xiaomi 14 Pro. Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro models and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra also feature titanium frames, so it’s no surprise that the industry is embracing this trend. Titanium frame is not only more durable but also lighter compared to aluminum frame.
