Xbox Developer Direct Will Offer an In-Depth Look at Exciting Games
Xbox Developer Direct will start at 23:00 Türkiye time. Some prominent games from Microsoft’s first-party studios will be examined in depth. The Xbox Wire article states that the featured games are Ara: History Untold developed by Oxide Games, Avowed developed by Obsidian, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II developed by Ninja Theory, and Indiana Jones developed by Machine Games.
The first gameplay trailer of the Indiana Jones game will focus on the plot and environment of the game, accompanied by developer comments. A detailed analysis of the games Avowed and Ara: History Untold will be presented. Xbox is teasing Hellblade II as a behind-the-scenes look at Ninja Theory’s Cambridge studio, where the team will share the process behind the sequel’s creation. It is not yet clear whether there will be any new gameplay videos in this presentation.
Microsoft also states that Activision Blizzard will not be offering any updates in Direct, but more news is expected later in the year. Activision was acquired by Microsoft last year.
It is stated that the duration of The Direct will be one hour and The Elder Scrolls Online Global Reveal, which will be presented by ZeniMax Online, will take place shortly after the event.
When Indiana Jones was announced in 2021, only a teaser video was released. Obsidian’s first-person fantasy role-playing game Avowed was introduced in 2020 and is expected to be released this year. At the 2022 Xbox Showcase, the turn-based strategy role-playing game Ara: History Untold was introduced. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II, the first Xbox Series X/S game, was announced in 2019 and was last introduced at the Game Awards.
