Deadpool & Wolverine, the third installment in the Deadpool series, promises to be a Marvel cameo fest like no other. The title already suggests it: two of the most famous characters from the X-Men universe appear thanks to Multiverse Bridge enter the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) for the first time and cause chaos.
Along with this, we can look forward to numerous guest appearances à la Spider-Man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. The trailer already confirmed Aaron Stanford’s involvement as Pyro. Jennifer Garner is set to return as Elektra from the old Fox films. But an older star will not appear again.
X-Men star Vinnie Jones is not returning in Deadpool 3: The Juggernaut costume was a pain
As Yahoo UK has learned, one star of the X-Men’s first roster is guaranteed not to return: Vinnie Jones. The former football player turned actor appeared in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand Juggernaut to see. The muscle-bound colossus could easily break through stone walls.

However, the powerful appearance also had its price. Apparently it was no joy in slipping into the Juggernaut costume. Jones reveals to Yahoo UK that he spoke to Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy, but a cameo didn’t materialize due to the critical costume situation.
Jones says:
I was asked if I wanted to do Deadpool, the new one coming out soon. I spoke to the director and said it was a real drama is putting on that suit, both mentally and physically. It really wasn’t that easy mentally because you’re stuck in it and you can’t do anything all day. You can only drink through a straw. In the end, no deal was reached.
Still, Jones adds that he gladly returned to Deadpool & Wolverine were. “Deadpool is more or less my favorite movie of all time. I really wanted to be in it, but they didn’t have the budget to put me in the suit.”
When does Deadpool & Wolverine start in cinemas?
From then on July 24, 2024 we’ll find out which stars made it into Deadpool & Wolverine. Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman play the titular lead roles. We can also look forward to Emma Corrin (The Crown) as Cassandra Nova and Matthew Macfadyen (Succession) as Agent Paradox.
