A man in his 30s is fined SEK 3,000 for repeatedly calling a judge a whore, writes Dagens Juridik.
It was after a default judgment in the Stockholm district court at the end of last year that the man contacted the responsible judge. The district court started a written procedure to take up the dispute again.
During the proceedings, the man wrote whore in an email to the judge.
The district court replied that they were considering fining him for the statement, and gave him the opportunity to comment.
The man then sent another email in which he called the judge both a whore and “you damn whore”.
The man has appealed the fine to the Court of Appeal, which will not take up the matter.
