“Patrik Svensson is awarded the Klockrikestipendiet for his willingness to look at nature with a child’s wondering gaze in the spirit of Harry Martinson. His driving force is curiosity and a desire to dive deep into the most secretive waters and fish out thoughts and knowledge about nature.”
Patrik Svensson was born in 1972 and lives in Malmö. He broke through as a writer in 2019 with his debut book “Ålevangeliet”. The book received great international interest and for it he also received the August prize in non-fiction.
The scholarship is worth SEK 20,000 and will be awarded on Saturday 6 May in Gothenburg.
