Two limitations in World of Warcraft Dragonflight will fall in a few days. Then you can grind as long as you want.
Even though World of Warcraft scaled back many of these mechanics with Dragonflight, there are still timegating and weekly caps. At the beginning of a season, these make sense, but as time goes on, these limits are seen as annoying and unnecessary. Blizzard sees it that way and will remove the limits for bravery and conquest points in a few days.
When will the cap go away? The weekly and global Valor and Conquest cap drops on February 15, 2023, so after the early morning maintenance, feel free to grind to your heart’s content and rack up as many of both points as you want.
What are currencies used for? Both currencies are mainly necessary for the endgame and sometimes the best equipment in the game.
Why were currencies limited? Both Valor and Conquest points are capped at the start of a season for a number of reasons. On the one hand, Blizzard wants the players to experience some progress week after week, on the other hand, the new raid should not be trivialized directly. If characters can get “infinite” upgrades from PvE and PvP from day 1, then most would spend the first week indefinitely in dungeons, then plow through the raid with overpowered gear.
Due to the initial limitation of the points, on the one hand nobody feels forced to run dungeons all day and on the other hand the raid stays interesting for a little longer and the “World First” race is also exciting.
What do you think of the abolition of the caps? Exactly the right time? Or is it all too soon or too late?
