Good times for tanks in World of Warcraft. Your damage is massively increased so that you are as strong as DPS characters.
Although the patch 11.1 stop was actually a “release candidate”, Blizzard brings significant changes again and turns on the adjusting screws. Tanks can be happy because you get a massive reinforcement. In contrast, all mobs look into the tube, because the life points are reduced to them.

What was changed? In the presumably final PTR update of Patch 11.1, Blizzard screwed again properly on the balance and, above all, made some gifts to the different tank specializations. The most important changes for all tanks are:
At the same time, all enemies in dungeons of the “Mythical” and “Mythical+” level are on the collar. In all dungeons of this kind, the life points of all enemies are reduced by 10 %. In addition, the life points of various summoned creatures (“adds”) in boss fights were reduced.
Basically, all fights should now run a little brisk, so that the timers of the dungeons are easier to keep.
Note that these adjustments only go live with the start of patch 11.1, i.e. in a few days.
Why does Blizzard buffle the tanks so strongly? Tanks also like to see great damage. It is now often the case that tanks in dungeons and raids can keep up with the DPS characters. On the PTR from Patch 11.1, however, this was mostly no longer the case and the performance of tanks has fallen significantly. To correct this, all tank classes get a massive bonus on their damage caused. This not only helps to keep the aggro better, but also to the whole group to be able to conquer the enemies faster.
It takes a few more days for the patch to live. But you can use the time. Because there are some content and successes that can soon no longer be achieved. Therefore, you should complete these 3 tasks before it is too late!
