Last minute The world stood up after Putins decision in

With patch 10.00 in World of Warcraft (WoW), the first Dragonflight content hits the servers. Anyone who logs in now will find the new talent trees with each class. We’ll show you how they work.

What’s new? The Dragonflight pre-patch, patch 10.00, is live in World of Warcraft. You will find a new interface as soon as you log in, as well as the new talent trees. You can already try out some of the content until Dragonflight releases on November 28th.

Here we show you how the new talent trees work and how to save multiple skills.

New talent trees in WoW – What the changes look like

What has changed? Talent trees have changed a lot over the course of the various World of Warcraft addons. Back in the days of Wrath of the Lich King, you determined your specialization based on talent points that you were free to distribute among the trees. So you can see it again in WoW: WotLK Classic.

Since the release of Mists of Pandaria, however, your talents are tied to which specialization you choose.

For the new addon Dragonflight, the talent trees have been revised again. For each class you have a base tree and another talent tree that matches your specialization. So, as a Restoration shaman, you have a Shaman tree and a Restoration tree. You can distribute 60 points in both at level 60. 26 in the base, 25 in the specialization.

How the Dragonflight talent trees work in detail.

How do you save multiple skills?

You need to know: The new talent trees offer a lot of potential to try out. Precisely for this reason, it is practical to have different skills with small changes accessible with just a few clicks, without having to redistribute all the points again.

If you go to your talent tree, you will find the button with “Default Configuration” on the bottom left. If you click on the arrow there, you can choose between:

  • Starter Build (a Blizzard prebuilt build)
  • New configuration (for a new build of you)
  • Import (to code in shared specs without having to type them up)
  • Share (copies the spec to the clipboard)
  • You can save your own builds with your own names several times and then load them with just a few clicks

If you choose “New Configuration” you should enter a name for it and then you can distribute the points. This process can be repeated several times. In this way, you will lay out suitable skills for a wide variety of situations.

How do you like the new talent trees of WoW? Do you think the functions are cool and have you already shared your specs? Or was the old system much better and you are dissatisfied with the “new system” for various reasons? Let us know what you think about it here on MeinMMO in the comments.
