A hunter was going to shoot a fox, but instead shot and killed a horse. Now he has been sentenced for causing danger to another in the district court in Hässleholm, reports P4 Kristianstad.
It was in October 2021 that the hunter accidentally shot the horse dead and then alerted the police himself.
A woman was in a residential building beyond the horse paddock where the hunter was aiming, and the court therefore considers that there was a risk that the shots could have hit a person.
The hunter has already gone unpunished and is sentenced to a fine.
