Injury problems continue.
Now they are worried about Zlatan’s future in Italy.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is no longer a purung, and his injury problems are starting to become more apparent. When he is whole and gets to play for Milan, there is no doubt about what a good football player he is, but in recent months he has mostly sat on the bench and the stands, and perhaps got a little more of a leadership role on the substitutes’ bench and in the locker room.
“Is a mystery”
Above all, it is Ibrahimovic’s knee that worries, and that has kept him away from Milan’s squad for almost half of this year’s league matches. In fact, since February he has only on one occasion played more than 23 minutes during one and the same match, and in this weekend’s lead-heavy victory against Atalanta, he was not even allowed to come in from the bench.
And it was not just any match. It was Milan’s last league match at home for the season, and it may well have been Zlatan’s last at home with the club. The Swede has an expiring contract, and given the injury history this year, it is far from obvious that there will be any continuation. Therefore, many had expected that there would be at least a few minutes of play this weekend, but that did not happen.
“Can not continue”
And it is creating reactions in Italy. The site SempreMilan, which only focuses on Milan in particular, writes that there is a growing concern for Ibrahimovic’s future, and that “his future remains a mystery”.
“He can not continue as it has been now, and some type of treatment may be a must after the end of the season,” they write.
Milan can secure the league title this weekend, but the question is whether it will be a few minutes at all for the Swede in that match. This weekend, his family was also present at the match – near the substitutes’ bench – which many suggest as a sign that it may have been one of Ibrahimovic’s last appearances.
