The nonagenarian has not given any sign of life since Thursday December 26. The police are appealing for witnesses.
A call for witnesses was launched by the national police of Brive, in Corrèze, on the morning of Friday December 27. A 91-year-old woman, Jeanine Raymond, has not given any sign of life since Thursday December 26. It is rare to see a woman of this age leave her home without returning home in the evening.
She reportedly left her house on foot Thursday, around 9:30 a.m., reports The Mountain. For residents of the town, the police specify that she lives near a Leclerc hypermarket. Jeanine Raymond is of normal build, is 1.50 m tall, has short, graying hair and wears prescription glasses. She would also wear a mid-length, beige fur-lined winter coat, pants and black sports shoes with heels.
On their Facebook profile, the police made a call for witnesses, asking anyone who has information to contact investigators at the Brive-la-Gaillarde police station at 05.55.17.46.00.
