World-renowned choreographer Helena Franzén creates a dance performance in Örebro

Leksand extended the winning streak beat AIK

Dancers Linn Ragnarsson and Jessica Andrenacci are practicing hard for the premiere on Saturday. The show is called “Two and a mirror” and the target group is families with children in primary and middle school.

The choreographer Helena Franzén is behind the performance. She has 30 years of experience and has worked all over the world.

– We continue on the theme that I have been working with during the last productions, which is about identity, and in the way that by seeing the other, i.e. seeing you, I get to see myself, explains Helena Franzén.

The dancer Linn Ragnarsson was born and raised in Örebro and studied dance at the Engelbrekt School. Later she moved to Stockholm and she has, among other things, attended the Swedish Ballet School.

Her dance colleague Jessica Andrenacci is from Italy but moved to Örebro to work with Lena Josefsson and Raande-Vo in 2007.

To be played in schools

Organizers of the premiere are Region Örebro County together with Örebro Municipality, Studiefrämjandet and Kulturkvarteret.

After the premiere at Kulturkvarteret, they will go out to the county’s schools and play the show.

In the clip, you can see some samples from the performance.
