World Cup European Qualifiers Portugal and Poland made their mark

Portugal left the other three teams behind in the playoff group, including Turkey, and made its mark in the Qatar World Cup.

Led by Ronaldo, the team beat North Macedonia 2-0 at Porto. The goals came from Manchester United star Bruno Fernandes.

Poland became the second team

In another playoff final of the European Qualifications, Poland beat Sweden 2-0 at home and made its mark on the cup.

A total of 12 teams participated in the 2022 World Cup, European Qualifiers.

With the runner-up of 10 groups, including Turkey, Czech Republic and Austria from the European Nations League qualified for the play-offs.
