Star Defender of the Dallas Stars Miro Heiskanen joins the Finnish competition team in the World Hockey Championships. Heiskanen arrives in Tampere on Thursday, when Leijon has a break.
The 22-year-old Finnish defender has already played in the NHL for four seasons. Heiskanen played a great regular season in the Stars shirt when he recorded a power balance of 5 + 31 = 36 / +3 out of 70 fights. In seven playoffs, he fought for a 1 + 2.
The lions will meet Britain on Friday at 4:20 p.m. There will be two matches on the program before Friday, with the USA on Monday at 8.20pm and Sweden at 8.20pm on Wednesday.
