Anni Kärävä returned to Finland on Sunday as a Freesk World Championship medalist. Returning home and seeing loved ones as a World Cup medalist sensitized.
– There’s still a bit of a feeling that you have to digest this medal a little. Must let things settle down, but of course it’s a good feeling, Kärävä said at Helsinki-Vantaa Airport less than a day after the medal was achieved.

– Of course, it is always exciting when you didn’t know what was going to happen. I didn’t know how the medal required the button. Yes it was excited, but it was a good result, Kähärä told me about solving the medal with a slight difference.
Syrjä said he had not slept in Switzerland after the World Cup final in St. Moritz.
– It’s not even sleeping. We set off in the morning to drive from St. Moritz towards Zurich Airport. I slept slightly on the car and the plane. A little sleep deprivation, but that’s it. Nice to be in Finland and breathe a little, the remote mood.
Syrjä celebrated the medal on the podium of the sunglasses in the eyes as he had heard the sparkling drink burning so much in the eyes. Champagne did not come into my eyes.
– It was great to look around and listen to the New Zealand winner’s national anthem. There were moments of recording moments on the retina, the remote felt.

– It was great that we both succeeded the same day. Elias has also been so close to the medal many times. Now it came. This was a big moment for the whole team. I’m so proud of our whole team, Käräväväs.
The duo’s World Championship medals will make the arrangements of the upcoming Olympic winter particularly interesting. Both were still in peace with the Olympics in northern Italy.
– I would say that these results bring confidence. Still, the idea is to go according to the same plan as before. Let’s develop our own skills and go the trick and race at a time, Kärävä describes.
– I guess these medals are a good thing on paper, but you can see the situation later. There are a different type of jumping in the Big Air for the Olympics. It’s even a little smaller. Everything is open. It is difficult to start speculating, Syrjä said.
