(Finance) – At the Abruzzo airportin the presence of Saga Board of Directors and the President of the Region, Marcus Marsiliothe ceremony took place inauguration of the works that they foresee the lengthening of the runway at 2,805 metres, 386 more than the current asphalt strip.

A contract worth over 5 million of euros, managed on behalf of Saga byAreacomthe former regional agency for information technology and commissioning.

The Pescara port appears at 25th place in the national ranking with a movement of 872,701 passengers in 2023, the 21.9% more than in 2022. Once the works are complete, it will be the 22nd Italian airport to have a runway longer than 2,800 metres.
