The word received the most votes in both the Netherlands and Belgium. A total of 15,000 votes were cast and no less than 65 percent of them went to grabflation. Joy beer finished in second place, while Nepobaby came in third. Ten words were nominated: administrative shame, heat fit, sports fluencer, TikTok justice, bullying tax, wokewashing and x’s.
