Woodstock police arrest drug trafficking suspect

A Greater Toronto Area man faces a raft of drug charges after an extensive investigation by Woodstock police.

The 21-year-old man was arrested Wednesday by the Woodstock department’s criminal intelligence and drug enforcement unit with the help of uniformed officers.

During the investigation, officers reportedly seized roughly $5,700 and more than $41,000 worth of drugs, including suspected fentanyl and cocaine.

The suspect was charged with three counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime.
