A 19-year-old Woodstock man faces child pornography charges after a preliminary investigation by Woodstock police.
Officers with the force’s internet child exploitation unit and criminal investigations bureau made the arrest Thursday.
The man was charged with possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography and accessing child pornography.
Woodstock’s police department is a member of the Provincial Strategy to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse and Exploitation on the Internet and conducts investigations into child exploitation offenses in partnership with other provincial departments.
