The municipality receives an average of 120 complaints per year about nuisance caused by a wood stove. In Hoogland, nuisance caused by a wood stove even led to a lawsuit. Those who cause nuisance are difficult to tackle. At the moment, the municipality does not have the resources, emphasizes councilor Johnas van Lammeren.
