“I will try to be offensive from the start”
Ebba Andersson got victorious for the first time in a long time. In an interview with News24 she told me about how she put up her race:

Ebba Andersson’s important self -confidence boost
The victory in Falun was important for Andersson, especially for self -confidence.
Is there any occasion is Timingen would have been better for a victory?
– I have a hard time seeing it because it is the last race weekend before the World Cup. I need something like this to continue to have confidence and believe for my arrangement for the World Cup.

Andersson comes from a heavy time where she has not been in her best form in a long time. When News24 talks to her, she gets into how tough it has been for her:
– It has been incredibly frustrating. Now it feels better.
When we ask Andersson to go more into depth on what felt frustrating, she says the following:
– Partly results but also the feeling of how my skiing has been. I have not felt that I have had the last thing required to challenge for victories and pallet seats, she said, continuing::
– You try and try day in and day out. You think you do a good training work but still do not receive a dividend for it.
“Wondering if it’s worth holding onto”
Andersson talked about how heavy it has been:
– This is when you wonder if it is worthwhile to invest so much when you do not get anything back, she says before she finishes with more positive noises:
– Now it feels so much more worthwhile.
