When she secured a sensational second place at the World Cup.
Now a wonderful video of her parents on the TV sofa is spreading.
What an incredible breakthrough we got to see on Wednesday in Finnish Kontiolax. Ella Halvarssonmaking his first A-team season, got off to a flying start in the first World Cup distance race of the season and never slowed down.
The Swedish debutant surprised the entire biathlon world when she crossed the finish line first of all. With 19 out of 20 hits and the fourth best ride time in the starting field, she defeated top name after top name.

After an incredibly exciting drama, Halvarsson’s impressive performance was enough for a successful second place. It is the 25-year-old’s first ever individual World Cup podium, in just his third race at this level.
– It’s a lot of joy, I’m just shaking. It’s beyond anything I could have imagined. It’s a bit of a dream, a dream world for me. I could never have believed that it would be second place, said a teary-eyed Halvarsson after the race of his life.
Family feelings
At home on Swedish soil, the Halvarsson family, her parents and sister Isa followed the entire nervous breakdown at home on the TV sofa. Now a video is going viral, watch it below, of the parents on social media showing exactly how nervous they were.

Especially Ella’s mother who couldn’t sit still on the sofa at all.
– Ella, come on now, just calm down. Oh, my stomach hurts…, she says in the clip on TikTok.
– Nah, but damn Ella. What are you up to? I’m starting to cry now.
It is sister Isa Halvarsson who published the video, see below, on social media and it has already received 75,000 views and a lot of nice comments.
“The family is at least as nervous, if not more so. VC silver!”, she writes in the post.
“No, but I’m dying, how cute,” writes one user in the comment field.
“So fantastic to see you,” writes another.
“Wonderful with parents. The time you put in. Has been fantastic. Now it bears fruit. Congratulations to you and Ella. So fun,” writes a third.
