They are Sweden’s two biggest ski stars right now.
Now Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson are fully loaded for the new season.
A new picture of the cross-country skiers together now makes all Swedes say the same thing.
The Swedish ski queen finished first Charlotte Kalla and the following year also the Norwegian dominant Therese Johaug. The skiing world thus lost two of its absolute biggest profiles during the latter part of the 2000s.

But when the throne as the world’s best skier has been empty, two Swedes have stepped forward to fill the void. Ebba Andersson and Frida Karlsson have really established themselves at the top of the world in recent years and taken the last step in their careers.

Ebba became the WC queen 2023 in Planica after two WC golds and two WC bronzes, for which she was awarded the prestigious Jerring prize last winter. While Frida took home the overall victory in Tour de Ski 2023, as the first Swede since Kalla to do so in 2008.
Wonderful picture
Now a new WC season awaits and our two Swedish ski stars are in hard training now during the summer to build up their bodies for the Ski WC 2025 in Trondheim. Then the duo will hunt for new gold medals as both teammates and competitors on the podium.

Right now, Andersson and Karlsson are at home in Sollefteå to sharpen their training with roller skis, and then a wonderful picture of both of them together has brought joy to all Swedes, see it below.
“100% Sollefteå-saved”, writes Ebba Andersson to the picture on Instagram.
“100%, if anyone has missed them,” Frida Karlsson also writes in response.

All Swedes are now saying the same thing about the picture, see it below, of our blue-and-yellow ski heroes who have received around 20,000 likes.
“Wonderful to see you together in Sollefteå,” writes a user on Instagram.
“You are the reason why we can endure the winter,” writes another.
“You are just the best, so lovely to see you, so looking forward to the next season,” writes a third.
“Two lovely girls training together! Can not get any better. Good luck this winter!”, writes a fourth.
