Womens sound library plea for a heritage

Do we really know Olympe de Gouges, Audre Lorde or even Catherine Colomb? With his literary installation, the Women’s Sound Library, Julie Gilbert brings these writers to life, some of them forgotten or little-known. The experience, installed in different cultural events, invites you to pick up the phone to hear the authors through fictional stories, a way of getting to know them or rediscover them.

A 41st telephone from the Women's Sound Library will be installed during the Extra! in Paris to discover the writer Monique Wittig.

A 41st telephone will be installed at Festival Extra! At Centre Pompidou, from September 7, 2023.
