Romijn thinks it’s a good thing that FC Utrecht is now launching a women’s branch again. “I actually find it surprising that there is no Eredivisie club here in the province. That problem now seems to have been solved,” says Saestum’s coach. “If you were born in Utrecht, you no longer have to travel far to play football at a professional football club as a girl.”
