Three men in their 20s are charged with several serious crimes, including kidnapping, against two women in Eskilstuna, Eskilstuna-Kuriren reports.
The crimes took place last fall. According to the newspaper, the men allegedly forced the women to stay in an apartment in central Eskilstuna and subjected them to, among other things, blackmail, robbery and gross illegal coercion.
One of the women is also said to have been raped by one of the men.
The women are said to have been forced to hand over their mobile phones, bank cards, bank codes and bank IDs. The newspaper writes that the women were threatened with a machete.
The women were also beaten with fists in the face and hit with a belt.
It all ended with a forced drive to dump the women.
The women later alerted the police from a house they sought help from.
The defendants deny wrongdoing.
