Women meet in Boden for a more equal gaming world

One of the words that marked the ten days is minority burnout. In other words, constantly having to assert yourself whether you want to or not.

– This burnout is often a result of a career that is full of difficulties, including feeling that you are not heard or that your competence is questioned, says organizer Angehlica Halling.

The goal during the ten days is to complete a game from grain to loaf. In total, there are twelve game developers at the camp from eight different countries. Including two participants from Los Angeles, USA.

In the clip, you will hear more about how the minorities work to get into a male-dominated industry.
