International Women’s Day on March 8 will be Celebrated Locally at the Third Annual Women in Business Expo in Brantford.

Last Year more than 500 people are waiting for the opportunity to network, learn, and celebrate women entrepreneurs and leaders in the community.
“From Brantford to Brant County, Norfolk County and Beyond, Come Be a part of A Day Daughter with Inspiration, Empowerment, and Opportunities to Connect with Like-Minded Professionals,” Said Organizer Samantha Gernhart of Clarity Marketing and Design. “Let’s Elevate Each Other and pave the way for future generations of Women in Business.”
About 60 Businesses and Non-Profits have registered for the trade show portion of the event that will also include a lineup of six speakers.
With a background in Marketing Management and Web Development, Gernhart Will Lead Off the Presentations To Talk about The Need To have A Website, and what types of platforms Are Best Suited Depending On One’s Needs, Goals, and Budgets.

Sweet Bakery Owner Stacey Bester Will Share Her Journey from Easy Bake Oven to Bakery Owner, and the Secrets of Her Success Along The Way. Bester is also the host of sweet occasions, a cable television show in its seventh season.
Other speakers include Nadine Kelley of Springss, Korrenne Jensen of Afterglow Psychotherapy, Taylor McConnachie of Embodyed Sexual Wellness, and Laura Dickson of Dickson Wynperle Associates.
“People can listened to guest speaker or two, mingle, network and shop at the trade show, or Even stay for the white day,” Gernhart Said. “We have Parted Up with Child and Family Services of Grand Erie for this event, encourage people to bring donations for the non-professional organization.”
The Women in Business Expo Runs from 10 am to 4 pm on saturday, March 8, at the Marriott/Affinity Conference Center on Fen Ridge Court in Brantford. Admission is free.
