Växjö district court writes that the convicted woman has subjected her same-age wife to “torture-like abuse with elements of sadism”. Among other things, she allegedly threw boiling water on her shoulders, bit her in several places and cut her leg with a knife.
The crimes are said to have mainly been committed in the couple’s joint home in Växjö and to have continued for just over six months.
The woman is convicted of serious assault and serious breach of peace and must pay SEK 220,000 in damages to her ex-wife.
