The woman managed to get child support, pregnancy allowance and parental allowance to which she was not entitled after withholding from the Social Insurance Agency that she had moved abroad.
Instead, the woman stated that she did not apply for a preschool place for the child because she had plans to move to another municipality.
She claimed that she was forced to give birth abroad because she was stuck there due to corona restrictions but that she did not move abroad until December 2021.
After checks, it was discovered that the woman probably did not live in Sweden at all during the time she received benefits, which was from February 2020, and she is now forced to repay all benefits.
