The woman was evicted from her apartment after it was discovered that she bought the contract black for SEK 2.4 million. Now she is also losing a million-dollar dispute against the broker who helped her broker the contract, Hem & Hyra reports.
It was in the summer of 2020 that the woman was thrown out of the apartment at Östermalm in Stockholm after it emerged that she had paid 2.4 million kroner in difference during a so-called pretend exchange.
After being evicted, the woman chose to sue the broker who helped broker the contract and demanded SEK 1.5 million back. According to her, the money would go towards a promised top renovation, which in the end, however, only cost SEK 500,000.
In autumn 2021, the woman lost in the district court and now it is clear that the Court of Appeal is following the same line. In the judgment, one refers, among other things, to the fact that there are significant uncertainties surrounding the transfers to the broker and that it is not possible to establish that it would be an illegally received commission.
The woman thus does not get any money back. In addition, she must pay court costs totaling SEK 206,000.
