A woman in her fifties who was injured with a stab wound during Saturday evening in Örebro has died of her injuries, the police announce.
Another woman, aged 25, is still being treated with serious injuries in hospital. She has been able to be questioned by the police. It is unclear what the relationship between the two victims is.
One arrested for murder
The police announced on Sunday that a person had been arrested and later arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder.
The crimes occurred in an apartment in Örebro. The police were called there at around 19.30 after neighbors saw and heard something going on in the apartment. The injuries are suspected to have been caused with some kind of care, according to the police.
Aggravated robbery
The police were alerted the same minute to an address a couple of kilometers from the apartment, where a person had been subjected to a serious robbery and severe violence. The police do not suspect any connection between the events. In that case too, no suspect was arrested at 01:00.
