The fire in the apartment building in Gällö started in the afternoon on Wednesday. Just a few hours later, the woman was arrested and she was later detained by prosecutors.
The prosecutor requested that the woman be remanded in custody for aggravated arson, but the district court decided to remand her on probable cause on suspicion of arson of the normal degree.
Charges must be filed by March 10 at the latest.
